This week’s #WomanCrushWednesday goes out to one of our own – Benefit Auctioneer Specialist and all-around fantastic human, Christine DeCastro.
You’ve heard the term, “Work Hard, Play Hard.” It describes Christine to a T!
She grew up in sunny San Diego and attended college at UC Santa Barbara, where she earned a degree in Political Science. She’s also a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering, a member of the National Auctioneers Association. Christine has nearly two decades of experience in sales and marketing and her energy is truly unparalleled! When not heading up the fundraising efforts for deserving nonprofits, she frequently offers her time and talents as a volunteer. Christine is grateful for the life she has and is well aware of how blessed she is. Consequently, giving back is extremely important to her. If she can make someone feel better, even for a short time, she considers it worth her time. Christine was a member of Delta Gamma sorority in college and remains an active alum today – through the DGs, she supports a number of nonprofits, including the Oregon Food Bank. Christine is also an active member of the Junior League – a group committed to supporting women and strengthening communities. Our beautiful Christine fits RIGHT in!
Christine’s hobbies even align with her spirit of service to others – she LOVES cooking for friends and entertaining them – she comes by the entertainment thing quite naturally, which you already know if you’ve seen her at an event! With friends all over the country, this go-getter loves to travel. She also relies on a good cardio funk Zumba class to have fun and stay healthy. This girl can really dance!
Christine, you may very well be blessed, but so are we for getting to work with you! We heart you forever and ever!
