Celebrating Trillium – Tying Into Mental Health Awareness Month’s Observance
May is Mental Health Awareness month, and Trillium Family Services wisely hosts their grand Black & Gold Gala early in the month to tie into the observance. Trillium has a simple yet crucial mission of building brighter futures for children and families. Their vision is to create safe communities where children are healthy and every family has the opportunity for success. Families get the support they need – when and where they need it. Trillium’s investment in the future of each child means that the next generation of Oregonians will have the skills to contribute meaningfully through employment, community service and raising their own healthy families.
We are so proud we helped update the program to increase energy, and ultimately help Trillium exceed its goals for the night.
Trillium wanted their event to be shorter but more fun and they wanted to bring their community together with a stage persona who engaged the crowd. To that end, they made a few edits to this year’s program. Their donors felt like stars from the moment they walked into The Nines, with ‘paparazzi’ shooting photos – on a red carpet to boot! The high-energy and entertaining band Hit Machine brought the house down to end a successful night. Way to go, Trillium!
