Get to know Sarah Bader, Maven Bid Assistant with Marquam Auction Agency. Sarah has been advancing bids and delighting donors with us from the word go and is one of our four original crew. She helps onboard and train all new bid assistants and loves raising money for worthy causes.
A true OG, Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Arizona. In 2003, she transformed a great idea into an empire, when she founded and cultivated one of the most successful specialty lavender nurseries in the PNW region. Sarah is an internationally published author, a YouTube phenom and dazzles audiences as a Keynote speaker. Having planned and executed lavender festivals, Farm-to-Table dinners, educational workshops and fundraisers, she understands the intricacies of events like no other. She has a knack for sales, communication, people and could sell rain water to a Portlander. Orgs love having her on board – thanks to her finesse, genuine care and intensity, auction sale prices soar when she’s in the room!
Sarah currently works her magic for AARP Oregon, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people 50 years and older, and their families.
In her off time, Sarah sings karaoke, embarks on road trips and spends time with her kids in nature. She loves fly fishing, hiking and getting her hands in the dirt.
