Naomi Lewis, Benefit Auctioneer Specialist with Marquam Auction Agency is the second African American woman in the nation (besides our very own TiWanna Kenney!) to have earned the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist designation (fewer than 1% of auctioneers worldwide have earned the coveted title). As a certified Project Management Professional, Naomi crafts events strategically, maximizing fundraising efforts and raising the most money possible. Her sage consulting advice pre-event, combined with the passion and expertise she brings to the stage, make for fun AND lucrative fundraisers each and every time.
Naomi Lewis became passionate about fundraising at an early age while participating in walk-a-thons, bowl-a-thons, and jump-rope-a-thons. She spent a lot of time volunteering with nonprofits, before finding a way to make a bigger impact – as a Benefit Auctioneer Specialist. Naomi attended Hampton University and is a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering. She’s a member of the Virginia and the National Auctioneers Associations. She’s also a talented Toastmaster.
Naomi is fueled by fundraising and family. She is passionate about supporting the March of Dimes (she has a miracle child of her own). Childhood cancer and military organizations are also close to her heart. Many of her family members have served.
In her spare time, she loves distance cycling – she once did a four-day, 318 mile trip as a fundraiser for people living with HIV/AIDS. She’s also an avid bowler and has bowled in a league. Naomi loves to travel. Visiting the seven wonders of the World is on her bucket list!
