Get to know Heather Ackles, Social Media Maven and superstar Maven Bid Assistant for Marquam Auction Agency. Originally from California’s Central Valley, Heather headed north to attend Reed College, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History. Heather earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Portland State University and worked her way through college serving as the Alternative Sentencing Advocate in Multnomah County. (Alternative sentencing is when someone convicted of a crime pays their debt to society not through incarceration, but treatment, recovery and community service.) Heather doesn’t give up on people who’ve made mistakes.
