Introducing Ana Rau, nonprofit champion and annual strategic fundraising planning expert with Marquam Auction Agency. Ana is driven by a never-ending hope for creating positive socioeconomic change in underserved communities. Fundraising is near and dear to her heart, having witnessed firsthand how nonprofits conduct transformative work in communities they serve.
Originally from Michigan, Ana attended Grand Valley State University, earning both her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management, with an emphasis in Budget and Finance from Grand Valley State University. Show Ana your annual budget and she’ll show you how to use it to do the most good for your org!
Ana’s work history honed her leadership skills in board development, event planning, fundraising strategy and volunteer management. She’s an avid volunteer herself, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Spoon Foundation. She’s also a Ninety-Nine Girlfriends fellow, helping create positive change.
When not helping deserving orgs elevate their financial and philanthropic impact, Ana loves spending time with her husband and young kids. In between feedings and diaper changes, you can find her adventuring in the great outdoors, enjoying the ocean, waterfalls, and the majestic PNW mountains.
